Incorrect News Report

Tonight’s news reports are incorrect. The main water line break has been repaired. The entire system is still under a boil water advisory until water samples clear but there is no other major system issue at this time.

Boil Water Advisory

Repairs are scheduled today at 11:00am that will require water to be cut off east of Bayou Tech. This area will then be under a boil water advisory afterward until further notice. We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience.

Road Closure

Due to substation repairs the intersection of South Martin Luther King Junior Drive and West Berard Street will be closed in all directions until further notice.

On the morning of Thursday, April 2, 2026, water will be shut off on Liz Drive to change a hydrant. All customers on Liz drive will be under a boil water advisory once water is restored.
